We are searching for an external sales representative to assist in servicing the developing Construction Market throughout Guyana. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos andhandle objections.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers.
- Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Five (5) CXC Subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English A
- Mechanical or Engineering background/ ability to speak Spanish would be an asset
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in sales with knowledge of the construction industry would be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of ERPs and CRMs would be an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle
